Michael currently serves as Partner at Schreiber Advisors P.C. (the “Firm”), and provides attestation, accounting, and advisory services to a wide range of clients across several different industries including not-for-profit, affordable housing, real estate, and professional services.

Michael leverages his industry experience, technical skills, and broad knowledge of issues to provide high-quality assurance and advisory services in a timely and efficient manner. Michael is responsible for researching, resolving, and documenting technical accounting issues, managing the Firm’s accounting policies and implementing new accounting standards. Michael specializes in Audits in accordance with Auditing Standards Generally Accepted in the U.S. and Government Auditing Standards (HUD, MSHDA, etc.), Cost Certifications, Partnership Accounting and Virtual CFO services.

Michael also serves as Quality Review Partner for the Firm and led the effort in passing the Firm’s most recent AICPA peer review program. Michael guided the implementation effort to convert the Firm to a cloud-based accounting software Firm-wide to provide a streamlined process for all tax and accounting products including compilations, reviews, and audits.

Michael previously held the position of Lead Technical Accounting Manager at Aptiv (formally Delphi), a global technology company. In this role, he helped lead the spin-off of a major operating segment into a new, independent publicly traded company. Additionally, Michael was Lead Global Project Manager in the implementation of a new lease software tool to help manage and comply with the lease standard. Michael previously held positions in External Reporting and Derivatives Accounting at Aptiv. Michael began his career in the assurance practice at PwC where he primarily served automotive, utility, finance, and real estate clients.

Michael has both a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant.
