Lindsey currently serves as Assurance Director at Schreiber Advisors P.C. (the “Firm”), and provides attestation, accounting, and advisory services to a wide range of clients across several different industries including not-for-profit, affordable housing, real estate, and professional services.  

Lindsey leverages her industry experience, technical skills, and broad knowledge of issues to provide high-quality assurance and advisory services in a timely and efficient manner. Lindsey is responsible for researching, resolving, and documenting technical accounting issues, managing the Firm’s accounting policies and implementing new accounting standards. Lindsey specializes in Audits in accordance with Auditing Standards Generally Accepted in the U.S. and Government Auditing Standards (HUD, MSHDA, etc.), Cost Certifications, Partnership Accounting and Virtual CFO services. 

Lindsey helped lead the effort in passing the Firm’s most recent AICPA peer review program.  Lindsey guided the implementation effort to convert the Firm to a cloud-based accounting software Firm-wide to provide a streamlined process for all tax and accounting products including compilations, reviews, and audits.  

Lindsey previously held assurance positions in large regional firms at Bergan Paulsen in Waterloo, IA, Greer & Walker, LLP in Charlotte, NC, and Plante Moran in East Lansing, Michigan. In these roles, she helped lead audit engagements of companies in various industries from start to completion. Additionally, Lindsey held an accountant role with Aramark Healthcare Technologies and was in charge of the accounting for all vendor service contracts and led the team in reconciling the contracts. 

Lindsey also is involved in her community and has volunteered as Sunday School teacher, coached softball, Home Owner’s Association Treasurer, Church Treasurer, and is a registered 4-H volunteer through the MSU Extension.

Lindsey has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Central Michigan University with a minor in Legal Studies. Lindsey is a Certified Public Accountant.
