Paul is a Principal at Schreiber Advisors, P.C., and provides accounting, tax preparation and planning and management advisory services for small business clients in various industries including many professional services. Paul works with all types of business entities including corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies and assists them from start-ups and entity selection to accounting and tax matters.

He also provides many services to individuals. He enjoys working as a team with attorneys, investment advisors and other financial professionals in order to meet client needs including tax, retirement and estate planning. He assists with the planning, creation, administration and tax preparation for all types of trusts and provides individual tax planning, retirement planning and tax preparation.

Paul has been working with attorneys, both on an individual and business level for most of his career. He provides many law firm management and tax services including start-up’s, partner compensation and distributions, partner buy-ins and buy-outs, capitalization, client costs advanced as well as tax and retirement planning and tax preparation for both law firms and their partners.

Early in his career, he was an original member of the Law Firm Services Association, a group of CPA’s nationwide providing management advisory services to law firms. He was an officer for a number of years and President for a one year term. He has also contributed to various articles and has been a speaker on various law firm management topics.

He spent his entire career before joining Schreiber Advisors with Correll Associates, P.C. which was founded by Bruce Correll in 1976 and located in Southfield and Troy Michigan. Paul started his career as a staff accountant and worked his way up to partner in the firm. He has been in charge of overseeing all accounting, tax and management advisory services for his clients. Paul was the President and Managing Partner of the firm for the last 15 years.

Paul has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Wayne State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Paul is an avid hockey fan and has played organized hockey for over 50 years. He and his wife are crazy dog lovers, chihuahua’s in particular, and enjoy spending time together and with their daughter and her family, as well as vacationing in the Caribbean on cruise ships.
